Started up by a lifelong hiking fanatic keen to share his love of the outdoors with others, the aim of this site is ultimately to provide a comprehensive resource on hiking in the UK and in particular aimed at Londoners. We're lucky enough to live in one of the greatest cities on earth, offering an immense range of opportunities, culture, activities, some of the best museums and art galleries in the world and more quaint streets and pubs than we could probably ever explore.

Nine million people and all the hustle and bustle get too much sometimes and we need to escape it all and what better way to do that than dusting down your hiking boots, packing your rucksack and heading off for an adventure into the great British Countryside. London has some great hikes within easy reach. From the picturesque rural Thames at Marlow to the great and mighty Seven Sisters.

Our aim with this site is to ultimately give you all the information you could require before setting off on a hike, from clothing advice, to safety considerations, rules on rights of way and footpaths in the UK, to details of our favourite hikes.
